Community Services

Alongside our supported housing developments, we offer support for adults with physical disabilities or vision impairments to remain independent in their own homes, through our growing range of community services. Find out more about our services below.

These services include:

  • Specialist home-based assessments by occupational therapists and vision rehabilitation specialists to help make life easier and safer at home for people living with physical disabilities and/or sight loss
  • Supportive peer groups for people living with sight loss and multiple sclerosis.

Occupational Therapy Service

Our Occupational Therapy Service helps people living with physical disabilities to live safely and maintain independence in their own home.

Through a free assessment and report by an Occupational Therapist, clients receive tailored advice and recommendations for aids or home adaptations, designed to make everyday life easier and safer.

Sight Loss Support Service

Delivered in partnership with Guide Dogs, a UK-wide sight loss charity, our Sight Loss Support Service is a specialist service that helps people living with vision impairments to live independently and confidently.

A Vision Rehabilitation Specialist will carry out a free assessment and provide personalised recommendations to support daily living.
