Why we need your help

As a totally independent charity, that receives no government funding, we are reliant on your support to continue and grow our unique work in the community which goes far beyond the bricks and mortar of our buildings.

Your donations and legacies help us provide the facilities and the support network that enable each of our tenants to do the everyday tasks that play such a vital role in allowing them to maintain their much-prized independence. Please donate now to give someone their own piece of independence.

How you can help

There are so many ways in which you can support our work just some of which are indicated below. Whether giving of yourself or donating much needed funds we are grateful to all our valued supporters for the difference they make to so many lives.
  • Our Apartments

We provide modern, purpose built mobility apartments with 24/7 on site support for adults aged 18+ who are physically disabled or vision impaired, enabling them to enjoy the independence that is so easy for others to take for granted.

  • HRH the Duchess of Gloucester officially opens Cecil Rosen Court

    HRH unveiling the plaque

On Wednesday 9th July, Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Gloucester performed the official opening ceremony of Cecil Rosen Court - our latest development of state-of-the-art mobility apartments in Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire.

Her Royal Highness was welcomed by chairman John Joseph, president Malcolm Ozin MBE, and chief executive Hazel Kaye. They escorted her on a tour of the new facility, where she graciously met tenants and supporters alike, to see for herself how living in a Jewish Blind & Disabled development has helped to transform so many lives.

We are now actively looking for an appropriate site for our next development in order to meet the urgent and growing demand for our unique facilities.
