Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

Teen JBD

Harry Salter & Avi Son - tournament organisers.jpg

Teen JBD was established in 2013 by a group of teenage boys to raise funds for, and increase awareness of, Jewish Blind & Disabled among a whole new group of future supporters.

To date their events have included Purim Spieling and a post GCSE 5-aside football tournament which have raised over £1,000 of much needed funds for the charity.

In addition to these events they also often give up their spare time during school holidays to help out with administrative tasks at head office. We are very grateful to them both for their initiative and their very welcome help.

The original members of this committee are now nearing school leaving age when they will be going off on their gap years or to university and so we are looking for new people to take over from them. For more information please phone Gemma Mishon on 020 8371 6611 ext 608 or email gmishon@jbd.org
