Jewish Blind & Disabled is the only Jewish charity providing state-of-the-art mobility apartments for people from the age of 18 upwards who are physically disabled or vision impaired.
About our apartments
Building work has now started on our latest development in Bushey Heath. When this opens in 2012 it will be our seventh building adding to our current developments in South Woodford, Wanstead, Chigwell, Kingsbury, Finchley and Mill Hill East. This will then mean that we will have a total of 297 mobility apartments, 155 in North West London and 142 in the North East.

Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire
To accomodate our ever growing waiting lists we have now started building work on our latest development in Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire which is on track to open in the second half of 2012. Thanks to our generous supporters we have already raised £8.9m of the £10.6m cost of this vital project. -
Fairacres, Finchley, London
Fairacres was the first of the North London developments to open in Finchley in 1987 with 32 apartments.

Cherry Tree Court, Kingsbury, London
Cherry Tree Court opened in 1990 as the charity's second development. It has 40 apartments in total - eight of which have two bedrooms. -
Milne Court, South Woodford, London
Milne Court opened in 1995 to help meet demand in North East London region. It remains the largest of all our developments with 61 apartments.

Hilary Dennis Court, Wanstead, London
Hilary Dennis Court opened in Wanstead in 1997 with 35 flats to meet increasing demand in North East London. -
Aztec House, Chigwell, London
In 2001 the third North East London development was established with the opening of Aztec House adding 46 apartments to the portfolio. -
Frances & Dick James Court, Mill Hill, London
In 2003 Frances & Dick James Court became the sixth of the current developments when it opened in Mill Hill with 42 apartments.
