Young Patrons visit Frances & Dick James Court

On Sunday 4th July over fifty young professionals enjoyed eating brunch and meeting tenants at one of Jewish Blind and Disabled's unique developments.

They heard from Jo Miller who moved into her own mobility apartment in Frances & Dick James Court 5 years ago. Jo spoke about how her Huntington's meant that she had to leave her job and sell her studio flat.

Thanks to Jewish Blind and Disabled not only can she carry on being self-sufficient but will be able to continue doing so if her condition should deteriorate as she, along with all the other tenants, have the safety net of knowing that help is always on hand if required from the on site house managers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The guests then enjoyed a tour of the building and were extremely impressed by the overall modern ambience and by the unparalleled attention to detail that goes into ensuring that life is made as easy for possible for all the tenants.

"I was glad to see so many guests made up of family and friends mingle with tenants and make the 2nd bagel brunch a success. I'm sure the speeches and tour left a lasting impression on all and have increased the awareness of our campaign and the superb work the charity does."
