New Mobility Bus in the North East

This autumn, Jewish Blind & Disabled was delighted to receive a donation for a mobility bus for our North East London tenants.

The charity's mobility buses act as a life line for many of our tenants, enabling them to get out and about to do their weekly shopping trips, as many tenants are unable to shop independently.

The previous bus was very old, and in desperate need of a replacement. Thanks to the generous support from the The Trustees of the Late Fred Wolfing estate, the tenants are now really enjoying using the new bus.

Hazel Kaye, Chief Executive adds;
"We are so grateful to the estate of the Late Fred Wolfing for such a generous legacy. The new bus will enable our tenants to be mobile and continue to enjoy their shopping trips just like everyone else."

A second bus is in planning, and will hopefully join the fleet for our buildings in North West London.
