40th Anniversary Golf Day raises £40,000

Held at the beautiful setting of Dyhram Park Country Club, the event attracted 79 golfers, with 20 teams, all enjoying an early morning shot-gun start after an early breakfast. The 18 hole morning of golf was later followed by lunch, awards and a raffle.

The four ball team prize was won by David Shalson, John Austin, Norman Smith and Anthony Bodie, and the singles competition was won by Jeffrey Zemmel.

As part of the money raised at the event, a raffle took place and an additional £2,250 was raised. Prizes included a fabulous Tag Heuer watch, £1000 menswear vouchers from retailer; Bruno of St Johns Wood, and a golf break for two at 5* Praia D'el Rai Golf & Beach Resort, Portugal.

Golf Day Chairman Stuart Simmons said:
"Once again the day was a huge success for the golfers and for the charity. Thanks to the generosity of the players and sponsors, all funds raised at the Golf Day will go towards upgrading our six buildings in North London, enabling us to keep on changing peoples lives. A special thanks to Dyhram Park Country Club for a very lovely day."
