Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

On Sunday 20th February over seventy young professionals enjoyed eating brunch and meeting tenants at one of Jewish Blind and Disabled's unique developments.
They heard from Diane Young a tenant who moved into Frances & Dick James Court with her family six years ago.

"Jewish Blind & Disabled does not only house the vulnerable in order to live independently and safely, they also give 24 hour support, allowing tenants to live to their full capacity" said Diane.

Guests then enjoyed a tour of the building and were extremely impressed by the overall modern ambience and by the unparalleled attention to detail that goes into ensuring that life is made as easy for possible for all the tenants.

Rob Dyan, Young Patron Board Member said:
"I was glad to see so many guests made up of family and friends mingle with tenants and make the third bagel brunch a success. I'm sure the speeches and tour left a lasting impression on all and have increased the awareness of our campaign and the superb work the charity does."

Please visit our gallery for photos from the bagel brunch.
