Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

On Wednesday 23rd October, 80 Young Patrons gathered at Ecurie25 Supercar Club to celebrate the launch of the fifth year of this successful campaign, which has raised over £100,000 to date. Those present were not only able to view the latest supercar models - including McLaren, Ferrari, Aston Martin and Mercedes - they also had the rare opportunity to sit behind the wheel of these amazing vehicles.

Ben Roston spoke on behalf of the Young Patron Board and reiterated the crucial role that our Young Patrons play in securing the future of the charity. Richard Benson, another Young Patron, kindly shared his moving story of how Jewish Blind & Disabled have supported his family speaking about his step-brother Marc, who sadly passed away earlier this year, and his step-sister Julia who lives with us at Frances & Dick James Court.

We are very grateful to Synergy Associates and TSP for sponsoring the event and to Ecurie25 Supercar Club for kindly donating the venue. For more information about or Young Patron campaign, please contact gemma@jbd.org.
