Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

On Sunday 20th October 100 young professionals took part in Young JBD’s annual pub quiz held this year at The Hendon pub in Hendon. This sell out event is a must on many calendars and unfortunately there were many who missed out this year due to the incredibly high level of demand for tickets.

Rob Rosenberg & Jason Green were fabulous quiz masters for the evening and team Quiz Kat Chunky took out all their competition to storm to a fabulous victory. Quiz winner Sophie Salmon said “It was such a fun evening for a fantastic cause. We had a great time and were so excited to win!”

The event raised £2,000 which will go towards the vital work of Jewish Blind & Disabled ensuring that more people who are vision impaired or physically disabled can live independently.

Young JBD would like to say a huge thank you to The Hendon pub for hosting the event and to everyone who came and supported us. Please click here to see the rest of the photos.
