On Tuesday 11th December Young JBD took over the Betsy Smith in Kilburn for Chanukah Bingo.

Guests were welcomed by Rob Rosenberg who explained how Jewish Blind & Disabled help people who are visually impaired or physically disabled.

Everyone in the room enjoyed Richard Carlowe’s cheeky rendition of bingo including a stand up sit down round which made everyone extremely competitive.

Guests also enjoyed Chanukah gelt, doughnuts and fabulous bingo prizes including a pair of Ted Baker shoes and a Mahiki free treasure chest.

No Chaukah Bingo evening would be complete without playing some fun games and “guess how many malteasers on the cake” was won by a delighted Stephanie bell!

The evening raised over £1,500, which will go towards Young JBD’s project which this year will raise funds for a specially adapted wheelchair kitchen in our new development of 41 state- of- the-art mobility apartments due to open in Bushey Heath in 2013.

Young JBD would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported this event and look forward to welcoming you to their next event in February stay tuned for more details.
