Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

On Thursday 7th April Young JBD supporters took their seats at the awe-inspiring ‘Circolombia Urban’ show held at the Roundhouse, Camden. 150 people attended the event helping to raise an amazing £1,000.

‘Circolombia Urban’ is part of the Circo Para Todos circus school. The first professional circus school in the world for disadvantaged young people, which produces world-class performers.

It is based on events from the 15 young performers’ real lives. The circus skills are mixed with energetic street dance moves taking combinations of beat boxing, balancing acts, acrobatics and stunts which left everyone in the audience gripping their seats.

Guest Vivienne Lewis said “The show was inspiring and exciting, not what I expected - a really entertaining evening!”.

Young JBD would like to thank those who supported this event. If you would like more information about forthcoming Young JBD events, please email Danielle or call 020 8371 6611.
