Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

Jewish Blind & Disabled celebrated the 4th July with the third annual golf day organised by Lloyd Botchin whose parents live in Cecil Rosen Court.

14 teams participated in this very successful event which raised over £20,000 for the charity. Lloyd spoke at the lunch about how the fantastic difference that Jewish Blind & Disabled have made to both his parents and this was particularly moving as his mother, Shirley, was in the audience to hear him.

Our congratulatons to the winners on the day:

·         Gary Heumann, Ian Godfrey, Tony Hannigan & Jason Adams: Winning Team

·         Jacob Haftel: Individual Winner

·         Ian Franks: Nearest the Pin

·         Lee Potter: Longest Drive

Long term, the real winners are Jewish Blind & Disabled’s tenants who will be enabled to maintain their much-prized independence thanks to the generosity of all those who took part.

We would like to say a special thank you to Lloyd Botchin for all his hard work in organising the event and to the Cecil Rosen Foundation and Bank Leumi UK for kindly sponsoring the day.
