Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

On Wednesday 26th June Teen JBD organised the first of what looks likely to become an annual post-exams football tournament, raising over £500 for Jewish Blind & Disabled.

50 competitive footballers met at Power League to take part in the 5-aside matches.  The tension mounted as the tournament progressed with the two best teams on the day battling it out in the final. Although both did extremely well Tahiti stole the show beating the runners up, Colonel Gaf, 9 – 1!

Avi Son tournament organiser, said “A big thank you to everyone who took part and supported Teen JBD. Over the last year we have raised over £1,000 and are really proud of this achievement. We really hope to make this an annual event.”

Teen JBD was started in 2012 by four  16 year old boys who felt that there was a gap in the market for organised events for young people of their age.
