Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

On Monday 12th March Louise, Pippin (Louise’s guide dog) and Danielle (from the office) visited Sinai School. Danielle introduced the charity and explained exactly how Jewish Blind & Disabled help their tenants to live independently. Louise spoke about her every day life, showed the children some gadgets that she uses and demonstrated how Pippin guides her which enables her to live independently.

Anabelle & Amber Rose Levene together with five other pupils fromSinaiSchoolformed a fundraising committee which helped to raise a fantastic £510 for Jewish Blind & Disabled.

A big thank you to Parkway Patisserie who kindly donated 200 cupcakes which the fundraising committee sold together with sweets. They also held a great raffle which had some brilliant prizes.

If you are interested in fundraising for Jewish Blind & Disabled or would like Louise & Pippin to come and visit your school then please email Danielle or call 020 8371 6611.
