Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

On Sunday 8th July, Jewish Blind & Disabled tenant Rachel Morgan jumped out of a plane and raised a fantastic £1,963.75 for Jewish Blind & Disbaled and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Rachel says "This will be my 11th Skydive. I just love the thrill! I've chosen Jewish Blind and Disabled as one of my charities as they've been invaluable towards me gaining independence. They've helped me move into my disability friendly flat and supported me all along the way. That's why I think they deserve to have money raised for them so they can help others in a similar situation to me."

Since taking on this challenge Rachel has taken part in another skydive. Jewish Blind & Disabled would like to thank Rachel for taking on this challenge and can't wait to see what she may try next.

If you would like more information about taking part in any challenges please email Danielle or call 020 8371 6611.
