Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

On 12th March 2012 Louise and Pippin, together with Danielle – Jewish Blind & Disabled’s Fundraising & Events Coordinator, visited Michael Sobell Sinai School in Kenton.

Danielle introduced Louise & Pippin and explained exactly how Jewish Blind & Disabled help our tenants to live independently.

Louise then demonstrated to the children how she goes about her everyday life and explained the importance of having Pippin. The session was very interactive and some of the pupils were allowed to walk Pippin and use the commands they had been taught in the session.

This was a really exciting visit for us, particularly as seven of the pupils headed by Anabelle Levene & Amber- Rose Levene are holding a raffle with some very special prizes as well as selling cupcakes very kindly donated by Parkway Patisserie in order to raise money for the charity.

Jewish Blind & Disabled would like to thank the pupils at Michael Sobell Sinai School for making us feel very welcome and for starting such a great fundraising project, we look forward to hearing how much they have raised.

If you would like Louise & Pippin to visit your school then please contact Danielle on 020 8371 6611 or email danielle@jbd.org.
