Saturday 6th April saw the sell out of Jewish Blind & Disabled's new Unlock committee's exclusive Launch Party at the Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Champagne Bar.

150 guests attended and helped to raise over £4,000 to support the unique and vital work of Jewish Blind & Disabled.

Guests were treated to free shots, a unique Jewish Blind & Disabled cocktail and a great goodie bag at the end of the night which included a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel.

Ben Teacher, Unlock committee member said “The new committee was formed to raise much-needed funds by arranging parties in venues that are a bit different to the norm and we couldn’t have asked for a better start – it was a really great night”

The committee chose the name ‘Unlock’ because the funds they raise will help to ‘unlock’ the door to a new life for someone who is physically disabled or vision impaired by giving them the key to the door of their own mobility apartment.

The committee would like to say a huge thank you to M&C Saatchi Mobile for sponsoring the event and to Harvey Nichols for giving us such a fabulous venue.

We would also like thank everyone who came to show their support and can’t wait to invite you all to our next event which is already in the pipeline, stay tuned for more details!
