Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

On Monday 12th December around 150 young professionals celebrated the third year of Jewish Blind & Disabled’s Young Patrons’ campaign at the House of Commons, kindly sponsored by Synergy Associates, Third Sector Property and Aerospares. The reception was hosted by Michael Ellis, MP Northampton North.

This year the money raised by the Young Patron campaign is going toward the cost of wet floor shower rooms in Jewish Blind & Disabled’s brand new development of 41 state-of-the-art mobility apartments in Bushey Heath. These specially designed rooms are just one example of how every effort is made to ensure that tenants are enabled to be independent with the dignity of choice that can only come from living behind your own front door.

If you would like to get involved in our Young Patron Campaign or would like more information then please email Gemma or call 020 8371 6611.
