On Wednesday 7th August a team of eight volunteers from the Goldman Sachs office in London returned to Milne Court to host a Hawaiian Beach Party as part of their Community Team Works project. This is a global volunteer initiative that allows employees to take a day out of the office and spend it volunteering with local non-profit organizations.

Everyone got into the swing of things and dressed up in brightly coloured Hawaiian outfits. The roving Tikki Bar was enjoyed by the 56 tenants who attended along with the delicious food that was also served. Our lively tenants & volunteers danced and sang the afternoon away courtesy of the music by entertainer Alex Samos. Prizes were given to those who entered the spirit of the party by dressing up and a free raffle with over 10 prizes was held. We are very much looking forward to the Goldman Sachs crew coming back in 2014. Click here to check out the photos from the event.

Jewish Blind & Disabled would like to thank volunteers from Goldman Sachs for making this day so special for our tenants. We were thrilled that they chose to give our tenants this wonderful party and look forward to seeing Katharine and her crew next year.
