Can you imagine what it's like... it's like... to not be
able to bathe yourself?
it's like... to be unable to cook
without risking an accident?
it's like... to feel like you are living
in solitary confinement?
The evidence is clear, you can help tear down the barriers to independence.

On Monday 6th July, 63 golfers enjoyed another sell out golf day organised by the Friends of Jewish Blind & Disabled at the Hartsbourne Gold Club in Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire.

In addition to enjoying the beautiful weather and the golf, guests were also fascinated to hear about the history of Jewish Blind & Disabled from the charity’s president Malcolm Ozin MBE and see the impact of the charity’s work through the eyes of the father of one of its tenants, a young man who was diagnosed with MS in his early thirties.

The real winners from the event are all Jewish Blind & Disabled’s current and future tenants who will benefit from the money raised but the winning team on the day was Jack Lennon, Geraint Watkins, Simon Williams and Tyrone Long from Genesis Advisory Service. Other winners were Tony Abrahams for Nearest the Pin, Clint Harris for Longest Drive and Robina Cohen who won the Ladies’ Prize.

Jewish Blind & Disabled would like to thank all those who took part with a very special thank you to Lloyd Botchin and Steve Crawford who organised the day, and to Bank Leumi UK and Focus Assured for their kind and generous sponsorship.
