Support a Challenge

There are many challenges throughout the year from a leisurely 1km Fun Run to a full marathon, as well as bike rides, climbs, dances etc. However, if you preference is for spectating you could always sponsor someone who is taking part.

Some examples of challenges being undertaken on our behalf include:

  • Community Fun Run - your opportunity to run (or walk) either the 10km, 5km or 1 km course and raise sponsorship money for Jewish Blind & Disabled, please click here to register or here to sponsor one of our runners
  • The Virgin London Marathon - This year we are very priviledged to have two places in the marathon. If you would like to sponsor Oli Ogus click here or to sponsor Peter Fischer click here. We wish them best of luck with their training!

Other challenges that you may wish to consider undertaking on our behalf include:

  • Nightrider - starting from Crystal Palace, this route will take you past over fifty of London’s most famous landmarks including Tower Bridge, a deserted City of London, Canary Wharf, The London Eye, Hampstead Heath, Piccadilly Circus, the House of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. For more information please click here or call Danielle on 020 8371 6611
  • London to Paris bike ride - an amazing charity challenge starting from the UK's capital, through the English countryside over to rural France and on to the heart of Paris, finishing under the Eiffel Tower. For more information please click here or call Danielle on 020 8371 6611

We are a traditional Jewish family with one difference - our 27 year old son has cerebral palsy. Five years ago Joel moved into Aztec House and this changed all our lives. It has given us peace of mind knowing that our son is in a safe environment where there is always someone available to assist. The future no longer looks bleak and, against all I was told, Joel can be independent to a large degree.
