Support a Challenge

There are many challenges throughout the year from a leisurely 1km Fun Run to a full marathon, as well as bike rides, climbs, dances etc. However, if you preference is for spectating you could always sponsor someone who is taking part.

Some examples of challenges being undertaken on our behalf include:

  • Community Fun Run - your opportunity to run (or walk) either the 10km, 5km or 1 km course and raise sponsorship money for Jewish Blind & Disabled.
  • The Virgin London Marathon - Your chance to take on the ultimate 26.2 mile challenge
  • Or if walking is more your style you could take part in our own Sunrise Marathon Walk
  • And for 'dirtier' supporters there is the 1TrueGrit challenge

Other challenges you may wish to consider undertaking on our behalf include:

  • Nightrider - starting from Crystal Palace, this route will take you past over fifty of London’s most famous landmarks including Tower Bridge, a deserted City of London, Canary Wharf, The London Eye, Hampstead Heath, Piccadilly Circus, the House of Parliament and Buckingham Palace.
  • London to Paris bike ride - an amazing charity challenge starting from the UK's capital, through the English countryside over to rural France and on to the heart of Paris, finishing under the Eiffel Tower.

For more information on any of the above challenges, please call Gemma Mishon on 020 8371 661 ext 608 or email gmishon@jbd.org
