Collect on Our Behalf

Tree.jpg

Clubs, schools, organisations and even groups of friends often collect money on our behalf. We are very grateful to all these people and are very happy to support anyone who would like to do this with collecting boxes, Jewish Blind & Disabled t-shirts, brochures, pens etc.

There are many ways in which our supporters can raise money for us with recent examples including:

  • a 12 mile walk in freezing conditions by the Wingate & Finchley Football Club which helped to raise £2,000
  • Purim 'speiling' by a group of teenage friends who raised nearly £400 mainly on the streets of Edgware
  • school mufti days such as that recently held by Hamonean Primary in honour of a visit by Jewish Blind & Disabled with Louise and her guide dog Pippin.

If you would like to collect on our behalf, please contact Danielle on 020 8371 6611 or email danielle@jbd.org.

We are a traditional Jewish family with one difference - our 27 year old son has cerebral palsy. Five years ago Joel moved into Aztec House and this changed all our lives. It has given us peace of mind knowing that our son is in a safe environment where there is always someone available to assist. The future no longer looks bleak and, against all I was told, Joel can be independent to a large degree.
