There are many ways in which you can make a significant difference to the unique work that the charity does in the community, either by volunteering to help with tenants in our buildings or by supporting head office staff.
GIVE YOUR TIME
-
It is only thanks to our generous supporters that we are able to continue to enhance and expand our unique facilities. As our waiting lists continue to grow your donation will enable us to give that precious key to independence to even more people who have no other organisation to whom they can turn.
MAKE A DONATION
-
If you are planning a simcha this year, and would prefer that your guests did not buy you presents, why not make this a double celebration by asking instead for donations in honour of the occasion to be made to Jewish Blind & Disabled.
SHARE YOUR CELEBRATION
-
For £21 a month (£250 pa) our Young Patrons not only make a real difference to our tenants’ lives, they can also make a difference to the future of the charity itself as our Young Patrons are our future.
BECOME A YOUNG PATRON
-
Leaving the legacy of independence now means that everyone can benefit. The recent budget proposed changes to tax legislation allowing for a lower rate of inheritance tax to be levied wherever a legacy has been left to charity.
LEAVE A LEGACY
-
We are always looking for people to join one of our existing committees, or to set up a new one, to help organise events and activities that not only raise essential funds but that also often involve new people in the charity.
JOIN A COMMITTEE
-
Clubs, schools, organisations and even groups of friends often collect money on our behalf. We are very grateful to all these people and are very happy to support anyone who would like to do this with collecting boxes, Jewish Blind & Disabled t-shirts, brochures, pens etc.
COLLECT ON OUR BEHALF

There are many challenges throughout the year from a leisurely 1km Fun Run to a full marathon, as well as bike rides, climbs, dances etc. However, if you preference is for spectating you could always sponsor someone who is taking part.
